This video is of a virtual exhibition put together by David V Dexter. David is the nephew of Dr. T.F.G. Dexter who conducted a limited excavation of the chancel end of the second church at Perran ar Worthal in 1922. He discovered two slate tablets dedicated to two of the most important families of the parish. He  was also the author of a substantial doctoral thesis in archaeology for St Andrews University in 1922 concerning Perranzabuloe and St Piran's Oratory and Monastery.  Dr. Dexter wrote a number of other books including "A Cornish Legend: The Three Churches of Perranzabuloe" originally published in 1923, and  "Cornwall the land of the Gods".
