Message from the Secretary

As you will see, the main difference this year is the change of venue.  Although the room we used in Chacewater Village Hall is delightful, we found that we were attracting too many people to fit comfortably inside ... so we're off to Chacewater Bowling Club in Falmouth Road.  It's only a few yards along the road opposite the Village Hall, and the clubhouse is a large room ( with disabled access and toilet facilities ).  The start time - 7.30pm - remains the same, as does the cost to visitors - £ 1.

I'm sure you will recognise the names of the speakers, with the possible exception of Peter Tremewan ( who has spent many hours researching the life and times of Billy Bray ).  All of the talks are illustrated with slides - and the December meeting will be very special !  Not only will David Chapman, probably the best wildlife photographer in Cornwall, give an illustrated talk - but he will bring along items for sale ... books ( which he will sign ), hand made cards, fridge magnets and book marks.  A marvellous chance to do your Christmas shopping in one evening !!

Carol Heathcote (Secretary)
