Monday 12th May Visit to the Great Flat Lode followed by Picnic at Wheal Peevor, North Country, Redruth. Go to four Lanes from Redruth. turn right at the Victoria Pub cross roads and proceed past the new school on your right. Carry on down the hill towards Pool and turn left to car park which is sign posted. To Wheal Peevor. Return to Redruth and Mount Ambrose. Take old pyepass and at Treleigh, between public house and the Inn for All Seasons, take road under dual carriageway. Turn Right, pass butcher Trotter and 2 chapels next turn left. |
